For some, running for political office seems to be an attractive option for most business owners out there. Why? for political alliance and power. However, it is not always like that. Often times, people who aren’t passionate about public service often don’t live long in service.

Running for a public position means you need your funds ready and stable when running for public office. Thus, you will anticipate spending a lot of money for election paraphernalia, rally stuff, and to also fund for your advocacies and outreach activities.

Pick Issues and Resolve Them

When you are a public officer, you need to also pick atleast 3 issues you wanted to resolve. Of course, less is more so just stick with three major issues and resolutions you have come up with to change this.  Remember, knowing what issues affect your community is vital.

Name Your Movement

It is like branding your future legacy. But make sure you are being authentic. Come up with words and phrases that best describe your movement and your advocacies in running.
